Day 18 (30 Day Challenge)

Worst Ending in a Drama?

This is going to be a newer drama. This ending made me just want to throw myself off a bridge.    Why Hello there Gu Family Book ...

Gu say hello to the shark you just jumped over. I know this is a really new drama so if you don't want to know the ending STOP reading NOW!!!

Are you back yet? Fantastic ... you agree with me right? This was the dumbest ending. I am not sure the writer really thought out the ending when she was writing page one of the first episode.

The ending to Gu had our Yeo Wool die in the arms of her beloved Kang Chi. The scene of goodbyes was sweet and romantic with a little humor. I mean you knew she was going to die when that darn warning about meeting a man with the moon and cherry blossoms. HELLO ... this is just not a good start for our main leads to end up together. Sadly, Yeo Wool left this world. Kang Chi never did find the Family Book to make him human (which that is another problem with the drama).

Fast forward to modern day ... huh what ... why are we in the present? Seriously!!!! Seriously this is what we are going to end this drama with. Hello Jump please meet Shark ...

If the writer did something along the lines of Return of Iljimae. Begin in the present than tell the story in the past. Show how these two times connect not to assume I will eat the BS you are trying to feed me (just saying).

MV

Davichi & T-ara "We were in love"

You may or may not like T-ara after all the behind the scenes with members. Despite all the problems this girl group has, I still enjoy their music. "We were in Love" with Davichi is haunting and sweet at the same time. This really show cases the girls voices in a belt out kind of way. Most don't like the rapping in the song but I actually don't mind it. I am not a HUGE ballad kind of girl so the rapping gives it a break of the sweet sorrow of the song.

What are your thoughts? Did you like the song or did you hate it?

If you haven't heard the song, watch below.

Day 17 (30 Day Challenge)

Favorite Female Character

Lee Se Ryung

I am going to say Lee Se Ryung from The Princess' Man. She isn't a warrior nor is she a cross-dressing tom-boy. Sure she wants to learn to ride a horse to feel a bit of freedom but she is just a strong and powerful character.

Spoilers for those who have not seen The Princess' Man so if you don't want to know, go watch the drama and come back. I will still be here ...

She starts out as a young innocent daughter to a Prince. Her uncle is the King and her cousins are Princess and Crown Prince. Her Princess cousin knows her father is hungry for the throne. He is playing a game of chess to take over the throne. At first Se Ryung doesn't believe her father would do such a thing to family. It isn't until she see first hand the blood on her father's hand bit by bit she tries to stop her father.

At first she goes to great lengths to show her father the monster he is slowly becoming. Come on, she takes a sword to kill herself to try to get him to understand. It is successful but yet it fails at the same time. For a woman in those times, power is very limited. She uses her love for her father to try to get him to see the people he is killing. She doesn't just lay back and happy about becoming a Princess of the Kingdom. In her mind, she is just play acting as the Princess. Her cousin is the princess.

Day 16 (30 Day Challenge)

Your Favorite Male Lead Character

Choi Jin Wook from Baby Faced Beauty is just down right adorable. I love he isn't a chaebol of a big company but a normal guy in the working class. Okay sure his DAD owns a family chain restaurant but he is actually working for his food and not looking at dad like he owns him something. His dad may have money but he doesn't act like he does. He goes to work, rides the bus, and works for his money just like the    rest of us.

He down right acts like a young boy which just makes him more endearing and cute. He giggles like a school girl getting kiss and calling his girlfriend by the definition. Makes me want to re-watch Baby Face Beauty for the adorableness of Choi Jin Wook.

Day 15 (30 Day Challenge)

Weirdest Drama Ever?

Secret Investigation Records hit all the weird in such a good way. If you haven't seen this drama, stop reading now and go watch it. Not kidding, I can wait till your done.

Okay, so isn't it one of the weirdest but yet the best thing you have ever seen? The writing, the acting, the cinematography, directing, music, down right creepy yet awesome. By the time episode 7 comes rolling around, I was so into this drama that I really had to step back after those episodes. It was like watching an episode of the Twilight Zone or X-File that got under your skin. It made you think about the possibilities about reality, fantasy and whatever maybe up there in space. But episode 7 really blurred the line between what is real and what isn't. I mean it, this show really kicked me and freaked me out to a point where I had to step back from the creepiness.
