Video of the Day: Nature of Man

I have a huge crush on N.O.M (Nature of Man). I find the group refreshing and awesome as a boy group in a sea of KPop. Their debut video "A Guys" highlighted the extremes of both genders in the KPop world. The concept is labeled as the 3rd Sexuality meaning neither man nor woman. They are blurring the lines of gender roles as is clearly seen in their debut video. N.O.M has released their comeback video just this week and I'm still in love with them. They maybe blacked out by the media in Korea because of their odd choice in concept, but I do believe there is a following of fans in Korea despite the media blockage. Regardless they have a fan in this foreigner.

Watch their new video Nature of Man.

The Barberettes

Please give some love out to The Barberettes. I love this new group. They aren't the normal K-Pop group. Instead these three sing in a Doo-wop style harmony of the 1950s with a bit of traditional Korean thrown in. They just released an album on May 27th 2014: The Barberettes (바버렛츠) : 바버렛츠 소곡집 #1

I've become a fan for their unique style. The concept is fresh and they use it in fantastic ways.  I have been listening to their new album on repeat for the last few days and I have all of them stuck in my head.

Listen to their new song from their album down below:

Check out for more videos on their youtube page.

Music Video of the Day

Block B is back!!! The song is a genre mashup. I have to admit I wasn't very impressed with the song the first listen, but it is growing on me. Not one of my favorite songs from Block B. It is the video which I enjoyed. The video is a creepy circus meets IT with a bit of Wonderland. There is darkness inside the video but there is bright colors also used to bring out the feeling of not being in Kansas.

MV

Remember when Girl's Day wasn't over sexualized? No. It's okay it is hard to remember what happen yesterday let alone last year. Before Girl's Day ran for President, they were girls dance battling in clubs instead of going to the library. I bring to you all one of my favorite videos, Oh My God by Girl's Day.

I hope you enjoy the humor as much as I did.
