Twitter Review Monday

Sorry viewers about the lack of any posts this past week. Due to the holiday season, it has been a little crazy. I bring you all a new Twit-Review.

Answer Me 1994

Dear 1994,
I wished this jaunt down memory lane wasn’t a long and bumpy ride. You lost the nostalgia and pizazz of the 90s with your long winded entries and single minded mystery. Even though, I will look fondly at Shincheon Boardinghouse and know I will always be apart of this fusion family.
Sincerely, Tiara

What Personal Space

Thank the Drama Gods for getting Jung II Woo into a drama. I knew I had missed my II Woo but I didn't realized how much I had missed him until he appeared in Golden Rainbow.

The Drama is your typical makjang drama from secrets births, revenge, and more. Despite the silly, Jung Woo is killing me with his on screen present. His character is pretending to be dumb, but in fact he is super smart. He is just so adorable. His character Do Young has been in love with Baek Won since middle school. 14 years had passed since they had seen each other, but fate gets these crazy love birds back together.

Baek Won still has feelings but won't admit them. Duh! Do Young wants to tell the world but is keeping it on the down low. Instead he is getting into Baek Won's personal space. (You can pop my personal bubble anytime Jung Woo). If these small scenes are down right hot, I can only image when these two FINALLY kiss. My computer screen my go up in flames. Oh I about die from laughing and squealing from the last episode when he told Baek Won she snored and how it would kill the romance of their honeymoon night. HAHAHAHA and Bow chicka wow wow!!!

These crazy two kids better be married at some point in this Drama and a honeymoon night which I can laugh when Baek Won ends up snoring. Drama Gods make this happen or there will be hell to pay.

I wanted to wish all of you a Happy Holidays.

Be safe, be merry, and keep on watching those Dramas. I hope to hear more from you all in 2014. Don't be a stranger and keep on staying at Aja-Villa.

Wicked Video of 2013

N.O.M has one of the Wicked videos of 2013.

Wait you have never heard of N.O.M. Not surprised. Their concept is something I can only guess people in Korea are trying to wrap their heads around. These guys are could be gay, strippers, or the update concept of the Village People. They make me think of David Bowie more than anything else. Either way I find them interesting and I hope they stick around for years to come. I just hope they keep and grow the concept they have come out with.

The video reeks of sexuality, weirdness, and hotness. N.O.M is wearing some interesting outfits which do not leave much for me to image. Hot abs, tight pants, and boot heals? If you haven't check it out yet, I give you N.O.M - A Guys

New Drama Alert

Sound the alarms because there is a new Drama coming to town. Emergency Couple will be starting January 24th on tvN taking over Answer Me 1994's spot. The show will be starting
Choi Jin Hyuk (Heirs) and Song Ji Hyo (Running Man) as a divorce couple which fate drops them together at the same hospital for round two after 6 years apart. This is looking to be a medical rom-com with witty bantering and lots of sparks from our main couple.

Totally looking forward to this Drama. I love Ji Hyo when she is silly. She didn't have a great pick of Dramas IMO this year, but I enjoyed Crime Squad a lot. Jin Hyuk has become my new drama husband. Sadly, I haven't seen him in anything but Gu and Heirs. I have some of his other dramas on my to be waiting list of if I ever get around to it. But from what I heard, Gu Family Book finally gave him a roll for his talent to shine. Despite my thoughts on Heirs, Jin Hyuk did pick a good drama to be noticed in again. A waste for his acting but something people will remember him in.

Fingers cross this drama will be as awesome as it is looking out to be. Take a look at the teaser trailer below.

Choi Jin Hyuk: “Memories I want to rip up.”
Song Ji Hyo: “Love I want to burn.”

Ask Me

With Heirs and Marry Him if You Dare has ended, which Drama are you planning on reviewing with your episode memes? You made watching Heirs much more fun with your memes. Thanks - Stella

Thanks Stella for reading my blog. I am glad I gave you a laugh and helped you enjoy Heirs more.

I have been thinking on which Drama I should start next. I was thinking of possibility reviewing Queen In Hyun's Man. I know what you are thinking, "why haven't I seen this drama?" I just never got a chance to see the Drama when it was airing. One of those Dramas that sliped through my fingers due to work and other Dramas. From everything I have heard about Queen In Hyun's Man, one of the best time travel Drama's next to maybe Nine (which is by the same team).

I was also thinking about My Love From Another Star, which combines both time travel and sci-fi elements into the drama. If anyone has any suggestions on which one, I would love to hear it.

Again thanks Stella for the question. I hope to hear more from you.

Autoway Tire Commercial

Once I saw this commercial, I knew I had to share it with everyone. The picture above is part of the commercial. A warming for those who may not scary things or things to jump out at you, do not watch this video. For Everyone else, enjoy the ride ....

I can't decide if the idea is the most brilliant thing ever or just down right scary. I did laugh for about 5 minutes because I knew something was going to just pop out in front of the screen.

Twitter Review Monday

I bring to you all a new Twit-Review. With this Twit-Review, my time is finally over with Heirs. Happy Monday everyone!!!

Heirs:
A boastful egotistical Shampoo Drama as the characters wash, rinse and repeat episode plot points. The motto of the Drama sure be changed to “He Who Wishes To Wear the Crown, Endure Its Weight of the most mediocre Drama of 2013”.  At least the Drama left “ Jumping the Shark” moment to Gu Family Book

Heirs Episode 20 (Final): It's Over

On this episode of Heirs:
Another Battle for Votes, 12 Steps for a recovering Bully, brothers UNITE (YAY!!!), Army is calling, Breaking up with a "Dear News article", and the Crown goes to ...

The Best Part of 1997

The cameos of all cameos in a Drama which loves to bring cameos had the best cameo of bring back the cast of 1997. I was not disappointed one bit getting to see my favorite group of friends. The cameo made me think how much I love 1997. The 5 of them getting onto the bus made me fan girl. As each of them got back into their character, I wanted to stop for a moment and relive Answer Me 1997.

I don't think Oppa would have been hard core on having the music of H.O.T. to be turned down. To me it was very much out of character but what better way to get Shi Won's attention. I forgave his slip out of character for me to enjoy having Shi Won back for those few minutes. I missed the father-daughter relationship of Shi Won and Dad. 1994 is missing a bit of the connection that 1997 made you long for those scenes between the two actors. Yay for not making me hate the cameo by breaking my heart for picking the husband. Boo for still teasing me with who the husband is. Tell us already because it's beginning to feel like trying to figure out who the mom is in How I Met Your Mom. Not cool drama. That is like a million seasons ...

But it was the last cameo of the episode 17 which had me on the floor laughing. Na Jung's "dumb" student just so happens to be Hak Chan. bwahaha! We all know he can't look at Na Jung because of his "problem" with girls (i.e. porn addiction) but she won't ever know this. Thank you Answer Me 1994 for giving the best "wink, wink" to the fans.

Top OST Songs 2013

I know everyone is doing a top 2013 *insert* list. I figured might as well join. This is my OST songs of 2013. We have all heard them in many of the dramas we have watched. Some have been over played to the point you want to rip you ears off, but there are those songs you have to listen to it over and over again. In no real order, here is my list for Top OST songs of 2013.

Monstar “Nocturne”

Monstar was a hidden show which broke out. I think most of the reasons this little gem of a Drama broke out was the music. Yes, this is a cover but I think it surpasses the original cover. The cello and guitar add a different sadness. I loved the added voices to make this into a duet. This cover adds a dark and haunting song with hint of passion just under the surface of these two voices.  One of the reasons I feel in love with Monstar.

Gu Family Book “My Eden”

Regardless of the “Jumping the Shark” ending for Gu Family Book, those first two episodes hooked me in with the tragic love story of Wol Ryung and Seo Hwa. It was this fantasy song which helps spin a tale of magic and love in this world.

Master’s Sun “Touch Love”

Master’s Sun you have put a hole in my heart after you left. It has yet to be filled by another Drama, I couldn’t wait to see each week. I can understand why this song was on the charts for weeks. Yoon Mi Rae maybe known for her rapping but she can make a heartfelt song with her quivering vocals.

I Hear Your Voice “Echo”

I Hear Your Voice was the surprised Drama of the year for me. I was late to the game on Voice but was able to sit down and watch over 10 episodes which made me want more. When this song started, I just got a smile on my face.

Either version of this song, I love them both. The song is has a nice upbeat that puts me in a nostalgic mood.
