Day 14 (30 Day Challenge)

Favorite Drama OST

Next-Rebirth

This is an older drama but a good one. The OST is by far one of my favorite. If I want something smooth to listen to, this is my go to on my ipod. I have listened to this OST by far about a million times. Granted, I really liked the drama. I am a sucker for past lives. Each of these songs brings me back to how beautiful each of the stories where told. Of course they never did end happy but the songs just brings the story more life to how sad and touching the drama was.

See the drama but if you are looking for some of the songs, below is a list of my favorites off the OST.

Long Long Ago - Park Ki Young
Flower - Go Yoo Jin
The Prayer -  Kwon Oh Kyung
Sorrowful - Lisa

AjaVilla ADrama Lesson

Creepy, weird, but interesting ...

The Suspicious Housekeeper has made it debut and here are my thoughts.

Holy moly, what a dark and eerie show. This is not your family drama where something bad happens and the characters learn a lesson about it or the meaning of family. A dysfunctional family is putting things lightly.

Our strange Housekeeper is "practically prefect" but not in every way. A Housekeeper who will follow orders blindly or regardless of free will is just odd and very un-Mary Poppins. That darn bag of her is about the only thing close to Mary Poppins. Forget the bright happy smile to start the day. This woman will just stare at you as if she knows what you are thinking. A broken soul who just does what she is command is this Robot Housekeeper. Mad props to Choi Ji Woo for her creepy acting.

This has got a hold of my interest. The father-daughter relationship is going to be a wild ride to see where this ends. With Han Gyul ordering our Housekeeper to tell everyone the real reason her mother died is karma coming back to bite you in the butt. I have no kind feelings to our dear old dad for being a douchebag and his little miss on the side is just as guilty. Payback will be a bitch but he made his bed and has to lay in it. Same with dad's little thing on the side. Have fun enjoying everyone knowing what kind of person you both are.

I hope the grandfather can forgive his daughter for following the douchebag. Sure she made a mistake but he has 4 grandchild he could be apart of their life and have a piece of his daughter back. I hope the grandfather and Han Gryul are able to have a lasting relationship. She needs someone in her life to be able to go to for help. At this point, she has no one. Han Gryul almost made a mistake with the boy from school but it seems she has a good head on her shoulders. Let see how long she keeps being smart. It is kinda of heart-breaking to see this kid being thrown into being an adult since she is the eldest kid. Plus in the eyes of her grandfather a mistake. Poor girl.

Since I haven't read much about the original version of this show, I hope things turn out well for the kids. I get the feeling that it isn't going to be happy ending but I can still cross my fingers the children will get a little HEA.

Day 13 (30 Day Challenge)

Which character would be your BFF?

Gil Ra Im

She has a spunky attitude who can kick ass but is a fangirl inside. I think she would be a fun friend. We could all enjoy going girly over Kpop and Kdrama. I could also learn from her how to kick some butt.

Day 12 (30 Day Challenge)

Favorite Drama Trope

I am a sucker for the trope of having the main leads forced to live together, or touch each other. I love the trope which brings the characters just a step closer to finally admitting they like each other and tons of kissing.

MV

Remember when Girl's Day wasn't over sexualized? No. It's okay it is hard to remember what happen yesterday let alone last year. Before Girl's Day ran for President, they were girls dance battling in clubs instead of going to the library. I bring to you all one of my favorite videos, Oh My God by Girl's Day.

I hope you enjoy the humor as much as I did.

Day 11 (30 Day Challenge)

A drama you started but can’t finish

I am actually kind of bad at starting a drama and if I lose interest there goes the drama.

My Girl I only finished the first episode. I know it is a Hong's Sister drama and I just could get into it. It is still on my list to try to finish. We shall see if I can.

Mary Stayed Out All Night ... dropped out 8 episodes in. I may give it another go. Again we shall see.

Day 10 (30 Day Challenge)

Your Favorite Kiss

The Greatest Love (Best Love) as some of the best kisses I have ever seen but it is in episode 14 that had the kisses of all kiss IMO.

Ae Jung and Jin are trapped in his house with the media waiting for him to leave for heart surgery. Ae Jung is upset Jin is just thinking of her future and not his or theirs. He is dying to protect her and she doesn't like it. Jin tells her that he is going to live and prove her wrong. More or less she tell Jin if he didn't think he was going to live than he wouldn't have brought her here.

Some eye sex and finally he gets she wants to have his potato (Rawr!!!! ),  stands and pulls her up and proves he is going to have a future with her as they kiss.

Cha Seung Won knows how to kiss. Sure kisses are normally innocent but he puts some spice in the kiss. There are a few actors who can turn evening the worst of kissers (i.e. their co-star) into a great kisser. Poor dudes having to do all the hard work. Heck I know people who would do the work for free ... if you think kissing your favorite actor was actually work?

When something awesome happens to my OTP

Day 8 (30 Day Challenge)

Which Asian drama genre do you mostly like to watch?

If the current show looks interesting, I really don't care which genre it maybe. As of right now, it seems the shows I am watching are medical or crime.

Historical dramas I tend to be a little more picky about. Historical dramas tend to run a long time. I really have to be in the mood to watch a long Historical drama.

I enjoy the romantic comedies as sweet candies to enjoy. Melodramas and Revenge dramas I like to take in once a year and not at the same time. I can only take so much antsy and revenge if I want to like the series or attempt to finish the drama.

I am picky to a point but it really depends on how interesting does the plot sound. From there if I can't get into the drama, I might drop it and come back to it later or not at all. I actually have done that with Princess' Man. I tried getting into it when it was airing and I was just not in the mood. A month after it ended, I gave it a try and wanted to kick myself in the bum for not watching it sooner.

Evening Moms know the dance move ...

JYJ's Ayyy Girl dance move is going to be as popular as the running man some day. A dance evening Mom's can do.

Run G-Dragon Run

Day 7 (30 Day Challenge)

A Hot Steamy Scene from an Asian Drama

All of us know Asian Dramas are pretty innocent. I will have to talk about the list of kissing positions in a later post. If there is a bed scene, they are pretty tame. A short bit of kissing, falling onto the bed, and the covers go right over. Fade to the next morning or scene. Sure we don't get the actually scene but I think the directors have nailed the art of steamy scene without taking off your clothes.

Secret Garden had one of the Hottest scenes I have ever seen. Who knew sit-ups could be hot? I didn't see that one coming. I felt I needed a cold shower after watching it. The look in Kim Joo Won was him making eye sex while doing sit-ups. Rawr!!! All this scene did was get the couple touching and in close contact. I am such a sucker for these types of troupes. Probably why I am in love with Master's Sun. Anyhoo, if you haven't seen this scene, have you been living under a rock, check it out below.
